1. Order Processing Time

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team begins preparing your package. Each item is carefully inspected for quality, wrapped in protective packaging, and labelled for dispatch. This process typically takes between 1 to 3 business days.

Please note that business days refer to Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed on Sundays or national holidays will begin processing on the next working day. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order has been dispatched, along with a tracking number to follow your shipment.

Order cut-off time: Orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) IST are typically processed on the same business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM will begin processing the following business day.

Free Shipping on Domestic Orders Above ₹1,999

Shop for ₹1,999 or more and enjoy complimentary shipping anywhere in India no coupon needed, automatically applied at checkout.

For domestic orders below ₹1,999, a standard shipping fee will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery location and the weight of your order.

For international orders, shipping charges are calculated based on the destination country, package weight, and chosen shipping method. The exact amount will be shown clearly at checkout before you complete your payment there are no hidden fees.

4. International Shipping

We are proud to ship Kaya Silks products to customers across the world, bringing the beauty of Indian textiles to every corner of the globe. Whether you are in the United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Canada, Australia, or beyond we will get your order to you.

Please be aware of the following when placing an international order:

  • International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local handling fees imposed by your country's government. These charges are entirely the customer's responsibility and are not included in the price you pay at checkout.
  • Kaya Silks has no control over customs clearance timelines, which can occasionally add a few extra days to your delivery estimate.
  • We declare the correct value and description of all items on customs forms. We are unable to declare items as "gifts" or undervalue them to avoid customs fees.
  • If a package is refused by customs or returned to us due to unpaid duties, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping charges.

We recommend checking your country's import regulations for textiles before placing an international order. Our support team is happy to help if you have questions.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package in real time. You can also log into your Kaya Silks account and view the tracking status from your order history.

If you have not received a tracking update within 3 business days of your dispatch confirmation, please reach out to us and we will investigate immediately.

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the courier's website after dispatch. If the link shows no updates right away, please check again the following day before contacting us.

6. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

We always aim to deliver within the timelines stated above, and in most cases we do. However, there are situations beyond our control that can cause delays, and we believe in being honest with you about them:

  • Peak festive seasons such as Diwali, Navratri, Dussehra, and wedding season typically see higher order volumes, which can extend processing and delivery times by 2–4 additional business days.
  • Extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or disruptions in logistics networks can occasionally delay shipments.
  • Public holidays and regional bandhs may affect courier services in certain areas.
  • International customs clearance times are outside our control and can vary significantly by country.

During peak festive seasons: We strongly recommend placing your order at least 10–14 days before your required date to account for potential delays. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before placing it so we can advise on realistic delivery timelines.

In the event of a significant delay, we will proactively reach out to you via email or phone with an update. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such situations.

7. How We Pack Your Order

Every Kaya Silks order is packed with the same care and attention we would want if something precious were being sent to us. Sarees and delicate fabrics are individually folded, wrapped in tissue paper, and placed in a sturdy outer box or sealed courier bag to protect against moisture, dust, and handling damage during transit.

We believe the unboxing experience is part of the joy of shopping with us. Your order will always arrive looking neat, presentable, and ready to gift even if it is just a treat for yourself.

8. Wrong or Damaged Delivery

While we take every precaution, if your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please do not panic. We will make it right. Simply contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs or a video of the issue.
